Book Design For The Nineties X Anna Sui

Pentagram designed a richly illustrated monograph celebrating Anna Sui’s defining work from the 1990s. The book uses a magazine-inspired layout and editorial typography to structure visual stories that capture the era’s fashion, music, and pop culture influences. Collaborating closely with Sui and editor Ileen Gallagher, the team created a tactile, high-gloss volume featuring Sui’s signature black-and-lavender palette.
