I knew it was crazy, but that also came from the kind of passion I think you get as a fan – we want to be the best.
This could never be a gesture that felt egotistical, unnecessarily decorative, or was there to draw attention to it as a complex piece of typography.
It’s as if they’re putting a gun to your head, asking: ‘Do you want to do this for almost no money or do you want us to hire someone else to copy you?’
