Menta developed a rebrand for Palapa, a slow fashion brand that reinterprets traditional Mexican huaraches for contemporary life. Inspired by the slow life of the Mexican tropics and the golden era of Acapulco, Menta created a distinctive wordmark influenced by vintage posters and ephemera. The brand system includes a sun symbol that also references a traditional woven fan, vintage-style seals used across collateral, and a lush landscape illustration that adds charm and sophistication. The work extended across packaging, collateral, and a social media kit, helping Palapa express its handcrafted, ethical, small-batch approach while highlighting its roots, premium materials, and modern comfort.
