Brand Identity Refresh for UCCA Center for Contemporary Art

Bruce Mau Design (BMD) refreshed the identity for UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, following its restructuring and removal of Ullens from its full name. The work included a refreshed visual identity and brand guidelines, retaining the spirit of BMD’s earlier UCCA logo while adding elements inspired by traditional Chinese motifs. The system improves the balance between Chinese and English characters for UCCA’s expanding network of museums, retail, and educational ventures.
