Book design for a railway design history exhibition

Vista created the concept, editorial design, and production for “Design & Bahn,” a nearly 300-page companion book to the exhibition at the DB Museum in Nuremberg. The publication traces more than 120 years of railway-related design in Germany, covering graphic design, industrial design, and fashion design through essays, interviews, and extensive illustrations. Vista structured the 24 chapters using a navigation system inspired by urban rail routing, helping readers move clearly through the material as if through individual stations. The museum edition features a distinct cover with technical drawings of trains, seats, signs, and logos applied using cold transfer printing, while the red hardback cover turns the book itself into a design object.
