Editorial Design For The Match Book

Mucho designed The Match Book, a publication showcasing over 150 matchbooks collected by Randy Shaw, founder of the Tenderloin Museum. The book highlights the fronts and backs of each matchbook at actual size, reviving the visual and cultural history of San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. Its tactile design features craft paper, foil stamping, and a functional strike spine that can light a match.
