Place Branding For Westbund Central In Shanghai

DNCO developed a place brand for Westbund Central, a major new mixed-use district in Shanghai by Hongkong Land. The identity captures a cultural shift away from the city’s intense work culture, celebrating balance, nature, and inspiration through the concept ‘Enjoy Life’. A flowing visual system, bespoke textures, and a scalable iconography extend the brand across digital and physical environments.
