Typeface Design for England Football Kits
Brody Associates created the England Brody typeface for Nike Football’s redesign of the England team kit for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The typeface combined display numerals with functional alphabetic characters on a geometric structure, and was applied to the men’s, women’s, and under-21s’ kits. In 2023, the studio updated the lettering and numbers for the England Women’s team with taller, lighter, more angled forms and accentuated stencil-like lines referencing the art deco origins of Wembley Stadium.
