CATK created a brand system, imagery, motion, and sonic identity for Luminary, a platform used by engineering teams to predict aerodynamic, structural, and thermal behavior in seconds. Drawing from real research, CATK built a visual language based on gradients, heatmaps, flow patterns, fluid dynamics, structural fields, and thermal maps to show what Luminary’s predictions actually look like. The system unifies these outputs into one coherent expression. CATK also developed a logo generated through the same simulation techniques produced by Luminary’s own models, making the mark behave like a physics result. The result is a brand that directly reflects the product’s scientific capability.
Mythology partnered with the founders of Luminary to introduce an ad-free, podcast-centric platform combining player and publisher. The studio developed the brand identity and a launch film that positioned Luminary as the future of exclusive podcast experiences.
The article profiles Finnish designer Emmi Salonen and her new book, The Creative Wellbeing Handbook, published by BIS Publishers. Drawing from her own experience with burnout, Salonen introduces a model that reframes creativity as an ecosystem requiring balance between input and output. The book compiles insights from over 100 creatives worldwide and offers tools for sustaining creative wellbeing.
