vista designed a special stamp issued by the Federal Ministry of Finance and Deutsche Post to mark the 100th anniversary of the Weimar Constitution. The concept focused on the constitution’s opening sentences, set in Germany’s national colours of black, red and gold, to underline the birth of German democracy and the sovereignty of the people. Selected through an internal competition, the stamp honors a pivotal political moment: the transformation of Germany from monarchy to republic and the establishment of major democratic and social rights, including women’s suffrage. The project combined historical significance with a clear, symbolic visual concept.
