Vista designed and developed the centennial publication “Lufthansa: The First 100 Years” from start to finish in collaboration with Prestel Verlag, the Society for Corporate History, and Lufthansa. The book combines academically grounded texts with illustrations, infographics, archival photography, maps, diagrams, and editorial formats to trace the airline’s political, economic, technical, and visual history. Vista created a color-coded concept based on Lufthansa’s corporate colors, structured the three main chapters, designed fold-out pages for special topics, and curated imagery from the company archive. Vista also contributed design history expertise and articles on the evolution of Lufthansa’s brand, including its collaboration with Otl Aicher. The result is a richly illustrated historical book that merges scholarship with a distinctive visual language.
