Fabrika 1830 is an art quarter on the grounds of the historic Balashikha Cotton Spinning Factory undergoing revitalization. The project delivers a comprehensive signage system that preserves the site’s authentic industrial atmosphere while orienting visitors and supporting new cultural functions. Materials and textures reference fabric and thread weaving, translating the factory’s heritage into robust wayfinding structures. The system includes icons, maps, and motion/3D assets to guide and inform across the campus. Roles included design direction, art direction, icon design, map design, and motion design. The result positions the district as a cultural hub with coherent navigation and a tactile material language rooted in textile production.
