The studio developed exhibition design for Two Avant-gardes!?—a show within the contemporary art festival First factory of Avant-garde, produced by AZ Museum. The concept visually rhymes avant-garde masterpieces from the Ivanovo collection with works by artists of the latter half of the 20th century. A custom typographic system with plastically echoing glyphs ties the two eras together; two handwritten glyphs in the title reference historic avant-garde signatures and foreground the theme. Production combined sublimation printing on Dewspo and chiffon fabrics for spatial elements, with digital printing on paper for invitations and supporting materials. Roles included design by Ira Kosheleva, project curation by Peter Tolpin, architecture by Ekaterina Yurchenko, and management by Elena Levitskaya. Typeface: Beatrice Display by Sharp Type.
