Animated film series for a luxury fashion house anniversary

The Mill created a series of five films for Louis Vuitton’s Monogram 130th Anniversary, celebrating the House’s iconic travel trunks. In collaboration with Opos, The Mill combined live-action cinematography with elegant hand-drawn animation to build a refined visual language that supported, rather than overshadowed, the trunks’ craftsmanship. Delicate white-line illustrations unfold across each scene to reveal stories, details, and emotion with the charm of traditional animation. Covering pieces from the Courrier Lozine Trunk to the Bed Trunk, the films explore different chapters of Louis Vuitton’s heritage through a careful balance of illustration, movement, and visual effects.
