Visual effects for a historical drama film

The Mill’s MPC Paris team delivered 163 post-production image shots for Les Rayons et les Ombres, a film directed by Xavier Giannoli and inspired by a true story set in occupied France during World War II. The work focused on period environment reconstruction, anachronism cleanup, and image corrections, with visual effects crafted to faithfully recreate the film’s historical atmosphere. Supervised by Arnaud Fouquet and produced by Alice Neichols, the project supported the story of Jean and Corinne Luchaire by helping evoke the era with accuracy and restraint.
