Sustainable Lighting Redesign For Ateljé Lyktan

Snøhetta collaborated with Swedish lighting manufacturer ateljé Lyktan to reimagine the iconic 1970s Supertube as the Superdupertube. The project explores sustainable material innovation using hemp and sugarcane-based biopolymers, resulting in a biodegradable, energy-efficient luminaire that honors the original design while reducing environmental impact.
