Custom Typeface For A Wellness Food Service

Sakara Life, a New York-based wellness and organic food service, specializes in delivering plant-based meals and whole food nutrition directly to consumers. For their new identity, Schick Toikka designed a custom typeface that features unexpected design details and playful proportions. The typeface includes wider uppercase letters paired with more condensed lowercase letters, creating an attractive visual aesthetic and giving the brand a recognizable personality. Art direction and product photography for the project were led by Lotta Nieminen.
