Schick Toikka's Lateral is a contemporary superfamily designed with a focus on sideways expansion. Named after the Latin term 'lateralis', the type family encompasses a significant range of widths and weights, showcasing the intricacies of typography. The design embraces modernity through a systematic approach, reminiscent of the works of Adrian Frutiger. Lateral features flat sections at the extremes of curves, producing a unique aesthetic that combines brutalist elements with functional versatility.
