SMLXL created the title and credit design for the documentary 'The Drums Will Protect You,' directed by Sean Mattison and featuring jazz musician Kassa Overall. The design uses flickering motion to evoke the fading energy of New York’s jazz scene during the Covid-19 pandemic, when clubs closed and communities struggled to survive.
