Brand Identity and Packaging for Redroaster Coffee Roasters
A coffee identity that lets every roast carry its own Brighton story.
Pop & Pac evolved Redroaster’s identity and coffee packaging almost a decade after the brand’s relaunch. The system pairs commissioned Brighton landscape imagery with playful custom R letterforms, using labels for limited coffee releases and printed bags for permanent wholesale blends.
Insights- The custom R becomes a flexible character inside the packaging system, giving a single letter enough variation to carry different coffee stories.
- Brighton landscape photography roots the roaster in place and gives the coffee range a local editorial voice rather than relying on generic origin imagery.
- The packaging distinguishes limited releases from permanent wholesale blends through format and label treatment, allowing one identity to serve different sales contexts.
- The project is framed as an evolution nearly a decade after the prior relaunch, so continuity is part of the design problem as much as novelty.
