OAR’s museum identity sees three letters from different angles.
Ordinary People created the graphic identity for OAR Contemporary Art Museum around Oblique Views, a concept that encourages seeing objects and the world from new angles. It connects the museum’s slogan, Discovering Beauty Today, with a visual language built from multiple perspectives. The letters O, A and R are formed as if seen from different viewpoints, establishing a relationship with the museum’s architecture and surrounding landscape. Negative spaces and geometric forms inside and around the symbol become the building blocks of a wider system. They can frame images and text or adapt to different compositions while retaining the logo’s underlying principle. The project extends across a brand manual, signage, exhibition graphics, printed materials and installation applications, bringing the same approach to both communication and the museum environment.
