Brand refresh for an artisan tequila brand

Menta refreshed Carabuena Tequila’s wordmark and core brand elements to strengthen its voice and help it stand out in the crowded U.S. market. Rooted in Jalisco, Mexico, Carabuena is an artisanal tequila brand inspired by the Nahual, a spirit animal from Mexican tradition that represents duality, transformation, and the link between physical and spiritual worlds. Menta translated this concept into a simpler, more distinctive system with packaging tailored to each expression: off-white and black for Blanco, an agave-inspired palette for Reposado, and a rich caramel tone for Añejo. The result is a cohesive brand presence that honors Mexican culture, celebrates creators, and gives Carabuena a bold, recognizable personality.
