Packaging Design For Massive Attack Mezzanine Dna Reissue

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Massive Attack’s 'Mezzanine', Hingston Studio collaborated with Robert Del Naja to design the identity and packaging for a groundbreaking limited edition release. The album was reissued as DNA spray paint, with each can containing encoded strands of the album’s digital data mixed into the pigment. The project merged science, art, and music into a unique collectible format that won a 2019 Wallpaper* Design Award.
