Gruppo Due

Gruppo Due is a type design studio and foundry founded in 2020 by Moritz Appich, Jonas Grünwald, Bruno Jacoby, and Massimiliano Audretsch. Based in Germany, the studio develops retail and custom typefaces grounded in research-driven design. Their work spans collaborations with cultural and institutional clients such as the Austrian Pavilion at the Gwangju Biennale, the University for Music in Frankfurt, Kunstverein Cologne, Ludwig Forum Aachen, ConstructLab, and Atelier Lohmann. Beyond design, Gruppo Due is active in teaching and workshops at international universities, shaping contemporary typographic education and practice.
