Typeface Design For G2 Ciao
G2 Ciao is a conceptual typeface developed from research exploring the relationship between spoken intonation and written form. Inspired by a historical sketch by William Addison Dwiggins, the project transforms linguistic rhythm into visual expression through letterforms named after tonal qualities such as 'silent', 'shrill', and 'swift'.
