Brand Identity For Linea Restaurant And Bakery
One continuous line connects Linea’s name, wordmark, plates, ribbons and uniforms.
Linea is a restaurant, bar, and bakery inspired by European cafes and bistros in Chelsea, London. The studio developed a refined visual identity featuring embossed linear motifs and a continuous 'drizzle' line that unites packaging, interiors, and merchandise. The result is a cohesive lifestyle brand that mirrors the expressive artistry of Linea’s culinary creations.
Insights- DutchScot built the identity directly from the name: Linea’s continuous line begins in the wordmark and travels across the physical experience.
- The restaurant, bar and bakery sits beside London’s Saatchi Gallery in a nineteenth-century arcade, giving the restrained system a strong architectural setting.
- William Luz’s illustrations cross the line like icing drizzled across a cake, adding expression without weakening the central device.
- Typography supplies structure while the line performs the recognizable brand behavior.
- The project shows why a simple idea can be powerful when naming, graphics, packaging, uniforms and place all reinforce it.
