For 20 years the fox in the Firefox logo had no name. Now he's Kit.
Studio DRAMA created a fully custom, digital-first wordmark for Firefox, evolving it from the bespoke typeface previously developed for Mozilla Corporation. The project focused on a versatile mark that works across the entire brand landscape, including browser interfaces, app icons, marketing campaigns, merchandise, and partner integrations. Studio DRAMA also developed a unique condensed cut of Mozilla Headline to deliver more message in less width while maintaining clarity and recognizability. The wider system connects with a new mascot by JKR, using simplified geometry, motion-led forms, and a calibrated palette that aligns with Firefox gradients and UI neutrals. The result is a scalable, expressive identity system built for both product and campaign use.
