Studio Bruch reimagined Hotel Zum Hirschen as a contemporary hospitality brand while respecting the building’s history dating to 1830. As a new generation took over, the project refreshed the hotel’s entire appearance, replacing a traditional stag motif with a custom corporate typeface inspired by antlers. The work extended across logo illustration, postcards, room cards, bags, door hangers, invitations, hotel information, packaging, and a wayfinding system. The concept also elevated the role of women in the hotel’s story, turning the stag into a mask worn by a woman and shifting the tone from masculine to feminine. Paired with the hotel’s vegetarian culinary direction, Studio Bruch created a renewed visual world and spatial identity that positions the hotel as an inclusive, characterful, and forward-looking destination.
