Bruce Mau Design created a new identity for the Museum of Toronto, a not-for-profit city museum, alongside a website reskin, donor materials, and signage. The identity uses an MTO initialism, drawing on Toronto’s “T.O.” nickname, with overlapping type stems that form window-like shapes for historical imagery. Its square core mark establishes a layout system for website, motion, and print applications. The palette develops the blue and red of the Toronto flag into vibrant colours, anchored by black; the website reskin, made with Sparked, introduced new modules, clearer hierarchy, and CTAs.
