Parisian street signs inspire a workplace wayfinding system.
Studio Banana reimagined the Paris headquarters of a confidential European market infrastructure provider. Employee surveys, focus groups, observation and workshops informed a workplace strategy combining focused work areas, collaborative settings and enclosed meeting rooms. The design draws on the Parc Monceau district and Parisian architectural heritage through tactile materials, rhythmic surfaces and a restrained palette with blue accents. A cafeteria takes cues from a Parisian bistro, while signage references the typography and structure of the city’s street signs. Integrated screens and desk management support flexible working. Alongside the spatial design, Studio Banana developed a change-management programme with information sessions, change champions and office etiquette guidance to help staff transition into the renewed environment.
