Book Design For The Photographer's Cookbook

Atelier Dyakova designed The Photographer’s Cookbook for Aperture, a publication based on a 1970s archive of recipes and photographs from the George Eastman Museum. The design merges the quirky vernacular style of vintage cookbooks with the rational modernism of late-1960s packaging, using bold colors and contrasting typefaces to create a contemporary yet era-evocative aesthetic.
