Book Design for the Open Road

Atelier Dyakova created the book design for *The Open Road*, published by Aperture, exploring the photographic road trip as a genre in American culture. Drawing inspiration from historical road maps and Americana, the design combines a condensed grotesque typeface with diner-style lettering, culminating in a cover reminiscent of classic motel signage.
