Art Installation For Nike 50th Anniversary

AKQA collaborated with Nike to commemorate the brand’s 50th anniversary through a large-scale art installation honoring the Tigerbelles, a pioneering all-Black women’s track team. Made from nearly 26,000 track spikes, the piece immortalizes their world-record-breaking legacy and is displayed at the National Civil Rights Museum to inspire future generations.
