It does not always have to be something concrete. It emerged from a white paper as an impulsive reaction to feelings.
Originality... Despite its Italian predecessor, Kasper brought a strong sense of character to the design.
Once we had an ordinary sans serif, we knew a neutral serif had to join the library.
Creating a new typeface, which most users see unapologetically as any standard, notorious system font, can seem foolish and a waste of time.
Now, you can typeset text in both sans and serif side by side without changing the weight or size.
Instead of perfect ovals, these zeros looked more like rhombuses – lazy cutting or genius design? Maybe both.
The witty name refers to the imperfect construction that contrasts with some perfect shapes in various parts of the letters.
Since the introduction of the variable font format in 2016, I’ve been thinking about what else, beyond weight, contrast, or width, could be useful to control.
Just as you enjoy the changing seasons, we hope you’ll appreciate each phase of Season.
It was surprising that, even though it took ages to complete the project, the extra time ultimately improved the outcome.
