This mass cycle moving from cold to hot dense states constantly creates new timelines, so we wanted to play around with these polar opposites from 75 years ago through to today.

Hato has rebranded the long-standing British art organisation New Contemporaries to coincide with its 75th anniversary and 2025 exhibition. The new identity repositions the institution as more agile and forward-looking, drawing inspiration from scientific and artistic ideas of continuous creation and transformation. The design references Constructivist artist Marlow Moss and uses a digital RGB palette to bridge the organisation’s history with its contemporary mission.
