Studio Blackburn created a new global identity for Brompton around the brand platform "Life Unfolded" as the folding-bike manufacturer approached its 50th anniversary. The rebrand retains Brompton's established triptych logo while expanding its geometry into Brompton Slab, a custom typeface developed with Sam White, as well as a modular graphic and motion system rooted in the bike's folding mechanics and London engineering heritage.
Studio Blackburn refreshed Brompton's identity for global expansion without changing its established logo or triptych symbol. The studio created the bespoke Brompton Slab typeface with Sam White, developed a motion and colour system, and rooted the work in Brompton's Greenford factory through oversized cut-metal letter photography.
