Mucho developed a brand identity and custom lettering for UNNO, a mountain bike company whose visual language draws directly from the geometry of its products. Working with calligrapher Oriol Miró, the studio combined curves and right angles in a logotype that echoes the construction of a bicycle frame. Two adapted versions of the mark allow it to maintain a consistent visual slope when applied to opposite sides of the bikes. The photographic direction balances riders in natural environments with studio images that emphasise the bikes’ design and technical character. Together, these elements connect the engineered object with the experience of riding it. The identity gives UNNO a graphic expression rooted in its products and its ambition to help riders explore their own capabilities through a closer relationship with nature.
Mucho developed a new strategic and visual direction for UNNO, extending an earlier collaboration on the mountain bike company’s logotype. The project positions the brand around the culture shared by riders, engineers and racers, expressed through the line “Ride the One.” A brighter digital orange strengthens the palette, while an editorial photographic approach combines technical product imagery with bikes in demanding outdoor settings. Typography pairs Axial by Statement Type Foundry with monospaced typography inspired by engineering. A graphic system based on the diamond pattern of racing chequered flags introduces another connection to the sport. Glitch-inspired motion graphics extend that language across digital applications. Presented by Mucho as exploratory work, the system gives UNNO a framework for editorial, digital and physical expressions rooted in the brand’s precision and riding culture.
