The Tretyakov Gallery underwent a comprehensive website redesign as part of its rebranding process. The new digital platform simplifies navigation, enhances accessibility across devices, and provides intuitive tools for exploring exhibitions, collections, and events, making Russian art more accessible to a global audience.
The project reimagines the identity of the Tretyakov Gallery as it evolves from a classical museum into a dynamic cultural space. Centered around a flexible 'T' symbol inspired by Cyrillic traditions and Russian avant-garde aesthetics, the new system unites the gallery’s diverse venues and activities under a cohesive visual language. A modular grid, color-coded locations, and a dual-typeface system express both heritage and modernity.
The project reimagines the Tretyakov Gallery as a modern, accessible cultural space while preserving its deep artistic heritage. A new visual identity and launch video were created to present the gallery’s transformation from a classical museum into a dynamic, contemporary environment.
