Snøhetta designed the Bibliotheca Alexandrina as a modern revival of the ancient Library of Alexandria, creating a bold circular structure that symbolizes the continuity of knowledge. The building integrates cultural, educational, and environmental considerations, featuring a vast open reading room, hand-carved stone façade, and sustainable design principles.
