Editorial Design For Okame Photobook

Mainstudio designed the photobook 'Okame' for Ibasho Gallery, inspired by artist Hideoki’s 1973 Japan series. The design concept reflects the duality of the work—combining playful family portraits and nature collages—by creating two books within one, unified through the symbolic Okame mask. The result is a tactile and narrative-driven publication that visually echoes Hideoki’s exploration of cultural identity and nature.
