Whale Studio created a branding system for Buyut Aljiwar, a new Dubai developer focused on a new generation of expats. Inspired by the Arabic word for “neighbourhood,” the brand is built around ideas of belonging, proximity, and collective living. Whale Studio developed a modular identity system of interconnected elements to express human connection and adaptable growth. The system extends across print, digital, environmental applications, web, collaterals, merchandise, and social media. The Latin lettering was designed to echo the rhythm and proportions of Arabic script, giving the brand a locally grounded character without directly imitating traditional forms.
