Coloured crystal meets the workshop behind it
Twice Studio art-directed a photographic series for Saint-Louis, photographed by Jean-Marie Binet. Coloured crystal objects are isolated against pale backgrounds, moving between complete forms and tightly framed details. Blue, red and violet tones give individual pieces a strong presence, while reflections trace their curved surfaces. Branded compositions place the Saint-Louis wordmark above the objects and short lines of copy along the lower edge. The expanded project presentation pairs these polished images with photographs of production: hands handling clear glass, a worker holding a tool, a glowing workpiece and the surrounding workshop. The sequence brings the finished objects and the circumstances of their making into the same visual story.
