Tuman Studio developed the identity system for Fabrika 1830, an art quarter on the site of the Balashikha Cotton Spinning Factory. The core sign combines two key factory artifacts—the clock and the chimney—into the Cyrillic letter “Ф,” tying the mark to place and name. Graphic patterns derive from a preserved site mosaic, blending architectural motifs with animal imagery. The system extends across area markers, merchandise, and souvenir products, supporting the district’s ongoing revitalization while preserving its authentic atmosphere and elevating it as a center of urban cultural life. Cofo Sans from Contrast Foundry underpins the typography for a coherent, contemporary voice.
