The Mill collaborated with artist-director Marco Brambilla to bring a monumental Elvis Presley artwork to life for the opening of the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas during a U2 concert. Built from more than 800 film clips arranged across six chapters of Elvis’s life, the piece required extensive rotoscoping, AI-assisted film reference research, 3D integration, and visual effects compositing. The Mill developed a custom 16K x 16K pipeline to manage the project’s extreme resolution and complex data demands, using Flame and After Effects to assemble and refine the final composition. Completed in just over two months, the project combined technical engineering with artistic precision to realize Brambilla’s large-scale immersive vision.
