Visual effects for a poetic coming-of-age film

The Mill collaborated with directors Fanny Liatard and Jérémy Trouilh on Les Yeux Verts (The Green Eyes), a film that premiered as the opening title of the 2026 Locarno Film Festival. The Mill’s film and series teams delivered more than 36 visual effects shots to support the story of Chaya, an 11-year-old girl trying to wake her brother after their family’s eviction is announced. The work was designed to remain unobtrusive, seamlessly reinforcing the film’s emotional depth, realism, and magical undertones rather than calling attention to itself.
