Event Design For The Rio 2016 Paralympic Games

Tátil, alongside Vik Muniz and Marcelo Rubens Paiva, conceived the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games opening ceremony and its multisensory identity. Inspired by the heart and infinity symbols, the experience used light, vibration, sound, choreography, and large-scale stadium scenography to celebrate athletes’ boundless energy and inclusion.
