Architectural Design For Not A Hotel Rusutsu

Snøhetta designed a contemporary vacation home in Rusutsu, Hokkaido, for Japanese hospitality group NOT A HOTEL. The project features two intersecting volumes that harmonize with the mountainous terrain, offering panoramic views of Mount Yotei and a central courtyard that fosters community and reflection. Natural materials and expansive glazing create a seamless connection between interior spaces and the surrounding landscape.
