This project created the identity for Mr. Blank 2.0, a contemporary dance work by City Contemporary Dance Company. Set in a surveillance-saturated, data-driven world, the production explores fractured identity, disorientation, awakening, and the search for truth through movement, projection, cinematography, and cross-media performance. The studio developed a print-focused identity system that reflects the work’s fragmented, multi-dimensional narrative and its tense digital atmosphere. Reimagined under Artistic Director Sang Jijia, the 2025 version builds on the production’s 2018 debut while introducing a fresh ensemble and renewed visual language.
