Identity design for a Hong Kong staging of a cult musical

This project created the identity for the 2025 Hong Kong version of Hedwig and the Angry Inch at Freespace, West Kowloon. Developed for WestK in collaboration with Ivanhoe Lam and Jordan Cheng, the work supported a bold local interpretation of the Tony Award-winning musical. Centered on Hedwig, a gender-queer punk-rock singer chasing love and stardom after a failed sex-change operation, the production called for an expressive and theatrical visual approach. The identity design captured the show’s glam, rebellious energy and emotional scars while supporting its print presence for the performing arts context.
