Graphic identity for a big-wave documentary series

This is Pacifica created the graphic work for “Nazaré – Making Giants,” a series about the surfers, safety teams, and officials involved in the Nazaré Big Wave Challenge. Inspired by the extreme scale of Praia do Norte, the studio developed a visual language built around the tension between control and chaos. The key art uses electric yellow against deep ocean blues to evoke warning flares, rescue gear, and floodlit surf conditions. Heavy, oversized typography presses against the frame to reflect the mass, energy, and vertical force of Nazaré’s waves, while clean geometric structure keeps the composition focused and impactful.
